Installation & Process

How long does window tint installation take? Most vehicles take 2–3 hours for a full vehicle window tint installation. Vehicles that require removal of old window film may take longer. Windshield tint typically adds about 1–1.5 hours to the installation time.

When can I roll my windows down after tint? We recommend waiting 2–3 days before rolling your windows down after installation. This allows the adhesive to properly cure and ensures the film bonds securely to the glass.

Will my tint have bubbles after installation? You may notice small water bubbles or a hazy appearance immediately after installation. This is completely normal and occurs as moisture trapped between the film and glass evaporates. These typically disappear within a few days to a couple of weeks depending on weather conditions.

Does window tint go on the inside or outside of the glass? Automotive window tint is installed on the inside of the glass. This protects the film from weather, road debris, and car washes.

What should I do to prepare my vehicle before a tint appointment? Although, none of this is required as we can work around most items, to ensure the best installation possible, we recommend: Removing personal items from the vehicle Cleaning out the trunk or rear cargo area if rear glass will be tinted Ensuring child seats or accessories are removed from the windows being tinted

Can you tint my car in the rain or cold weather? Yes. Window tint is installed indoors in a controlled environment, so weather conditions such as rain or cold temperatures do not affect the installation process.

Can window tint be removed? Yes. Window tint can be professionally removed if it becomes damaged, outdated, or if you would like to upgrade to a different film type. Professional removal ensures the adhesive is removed safely without damaging your defroster lines or glass.

Film Performance

What is ceramic window tint? Ceramic window tint is a high-performance film that uses advanced ceramic particles to block heat and UV rays. Unlike traditional films, ceramic tint provides excellent heat rejection while maintaining better visibility and does not interfere with electronics like GPS, Bluetooth, or cell signals.

What is the difference between ceramic and non-ceramic tint? Non-ceramic films such as carbon or dyed films provide privacy and UV protection. Ceramic films offer additional heat rejection and improved interior comfort, making them a popular choice for drivers who want maximum performance.

Does tint help protect my car interior? Yes. Window tint helps protect your vehicle’s interior by blocking harmful UV rays that can cause fading, cracking, and discoloration of upholstery, leather, and dashboard materials.

Does window tint block heat? Yes. Quality window tint can significantly reduce heat entering the vehicle by blocking infrared radiation from the sun. Ceramic window films provide the highest level of heat rejection.

Does window tint block UV rays? Yes. Most professional-grade window films block up to 99% of harmful UV rays, helping protect both your vehicle interior and your skin from sun damage.

Will window tint make my car darker inside? Window tint reduces glare and brightness from outside light, but high-quality films are designed to maintain better visibility from inside the vehicle, even at darker shades.

Does window tint reduce glare when driving? Yes. Window tint helps reduce glare from sunlight and headlights, which can make driving more comfortable and improve visibility, especially during bright daylight or nighttime driving.

Does window tint affect GPS or cell signal? No. Modern window films are designed to allow electronic signals to pass through without interference.

Does ceramic tint interfere with electronics? No. Ceramic tint does not contain metal, so it will not interfere with electronics such as GPS, satellite radio, Bluetooth, or cell phone signals.

Durability & Warranty

How long does window tint last? High-quality automotive window film can last many years when properly installed and maintained.

Does window tint fade or turn purple over time? Low-quality films may fade or discolor over time. Professional-grade films from reputable manufacturers are designed to maintain their color and performance for many years.

What warranty comes with window tint? Our films include a limited lifetime manufacturer warranty against issues such as peeling, bubbling, cracking, adhesive failure, and discoloration.
