Karl founded Rocket Tint in 2021 after years in precision manufacturing. Same accuracy, same accountability, same intolerance for "good enough" — just applied to glass instead of carbon fiber.

Rocket Tint was founded on a commitment to precision, quality, and customer experience. Karl's background spans aerospace manufacturing, business, marketing, and sales — a disciplined, detail-driven mindset we brought directly into the tint bay.

From the start, we recognized an opportunity to raise the standard - both in installation quality and in how customers are treated throughout the process. Our team is extensively trained in QA and customer service, allowing us to deliver window film installations that are clean, consistent, and tailored to each vehicle.

In the spring of 2022, Rocket Tint opened its first physical location, marking an important step in our growth and long-term commitment to serving the St. Louis automotive community. Today we're extending that same standard to residential and commercial work - homes and buildings across St. Louis.

Every car runs a final QA check before it leaves the bay — glass clean, edges tight, no light gaps. If it's not right, it gets reworked before you ever see it.

02 · PRECISION

Plotter-cut to the factory profile

Every pattern comes off a precision plotter using your vehicle's exact factory glass profile — a clean, consistent edge on every window.

03 · WARRANTY

Real coverage, real support

Lifetime limited warranty backed by Eastman LLumar. If anything peels, bubbles, fades, cracks, or delaminates — bring it back. No runaround, no fine print.

04 · YOUR CALL

Tint to your taste

Missouri legal limit is 35% VLT on front-sides. Going darker — for off-road or show use — is the customer's election. Sign a quick liability waiver at install and we'll cut whatever VLT you want.

2021

Karl launches Rocket Tint as a mobile operation while perfecting the install process.

2022

First physical location opens in Olivette. Becomes LLumar authorized.

2023

Opens the South County shop on Meramec Bottom Rd.

2026

Adds FormulaOne Pinnacle Plus ceramic and launches residential + commercial divisions.

West County location — open for business.

Our second location at 419 Old State Rd, Suite 103, Ellisville is open and booking now — keeping wait times tight as we scale into residential and commercial work. Same dust-controlled standard, same installers trained against it. More glass tinted without sacrificing the QA process that's gotten us this far.
